ARTISTS STATEMENT

So why this now? Is the question I ask myself. Why not ten years ago before gravity began turning the screws? Unfortunately 10 years ago at my perkiest, I couldn't seem to appreciate myself. Caught up in cycle of self criticism and comparison, I was never going to be ready enough to do something like this. When I hit 35 I experienced that sexual peak that is often spoken about for women. A peak that a number of women seem to accidentally skip as a result of child bearing activities. I'm so glad I was unencumbered at the time. It was quite a revelation. I'm still riding the wave… I love what I've got and I've learned how to make full use it for the pleasure of myself and others. The challenge now to capture it. To create a momento of this intoxicating time, to make it last as long as possible. I've always been an advocate for the odd, the lovely and the strange. A champion and ravenous appreciator of all life's pleasures. Food, music, art, sex and nature are all certainly up there on my list. I live my life with as few regrets as possible. My path to date colourful and convoluted. I try never to make the same mistakes twice, discovering there are far bolder, exciting ones out there. Unfortunately I'm quite attached to some of my mistakes, some of them are too much fun to part with right away.

I like to taste: food matching is a wonderful thing. Artichokes and reisling, bubbles and brie.
I like to feel: ecstacy, joy and wonder.

favourite part of someone else's body: I have a thing about manly hands and strong wrists, and long elegant necks on ladies.
Why i shot myself: Didn't think I would find anyone more comfortable to be nude and silly with than myself.

Most outrageous thing I have done: Set fire to my life and ran away alone to a place I knew nothing about.
