ARTISTS STATEMENT

I love being nude. I've been known to run around the warmer cities of Australia in the nude. And I resent the fact that our bodies are censored everyday, everywhere we go. I also love nature. I love wild, strong and free women, getting dirty, taking risks and being unashamed of our natural beauty. I'd like to strip away all the fear and pretence that keeps us trapped, alone and scared in this culture and see people feeling alive, creative and sexy. In my shoot, I tried to capture myself being feminine and yet strong, physically and spiritually. Sexy, wild and real - mosquito bites, scratches, hair and all. I want to be part of a world where everyone is allowed to feel beautiful.
