ARTISTS STATEMENT

I am not perfect, and like most people I am not 100% happy with my body. This shoot was to show that in order to be beautiful and confident you have to be expressive and not care. Plus, I want to be able to look back and say to people, "Yeah I used to look like that, and I enjoyed it". The shoot was amazing 'cause the atmosphere was so relaxed, plus I was in control of the camera. People have such a bad opinion of nudity and people posing naked - mainly because it's been drilled into us from an early age that we should be ashamed of our body, not expose our body, and always cover up. This type of photography enables people to realise that they can be naked, be themselves, and have fun. Who cares what other people think?! EVERYONE SHOULD SHOOT THEMSELVES! P.S. Let me do this again, ISM!
