ARTISTS STATEMENT

I feel alive, it's like a breath of fresh air. I'm not a photographer, so I don't consider my pictures as art, it's just me. But this project is definitely art. Thousands of women are broadcasting love for themselves and their bodies, I just wanted to be a part of it. When I was shooting my photos at one point I started remembering the nudes I used to send to my exes and I realized that I was doing something different now. I used to try to hide my flaws. And of course the main goal before was arousal, now the main goal was to show the real me, accepting myself and loving myself. It's not about sex or porn, although participating in this project definitely turned me on.
