GABBIE

ARTISTS STATEMENT
I decided to contribute to the project "I shot myself" because I like the message of showing people in their most natural form and embracing flaws. In the past I've had problems with always wanting to look perfect and be skinny but embracing my body for this project. I also love the art aspect of it all and showing how beautiful the naked body is without sexualisation. I have always been somewhat comfortable being nude but have only really delved into the world of nude photography and erotica recently and I love how vulnerable and beautiful it can be.
