ARTISTS STATEMENT

I have been moving through my own self expression for a few years now. The first time I ever took my shirt off I was at a festival and still hid behind a scarf. As of recent years I have been trying to normalise the human body in the way I know how to and also claim my sexuality in whatever way that looks like for me as opposed to monetised media. I love going shirtless now and hanging out shirtless. I enjoy being naked out in the sun and I feel it taps into my primitive nature as well as playful nature too! I am quite a creative being and I love bringing creativity into bodily expression so that I am able to tap into people's appreciation rather than what we are use to experiencing. I feel that in society we have been conditioned to believe that being naked allows for permission for others to sexualise the body when it shouldn't be that way. Sexuality is normal, it is playful and the human body is soooo much more than monetised sexuality. It is the key to our own expansion, our connection to source and our divine nature and pleasure, it's amazing!! I believe that pleasure is your own to claim, naked or not.

I like to taste: Different types of tea. Especially native teas that are really grounding and earthy
I like to feel: Cared for. This can be expressed by making me a meal or taking me out and creating the time for me to feel seen and heard
favourite part of my body: My breasts actually. I have really come to love them over the years
favourite part of someone else's body: Their knees. I really don't know why, I just find them fascinating
Why i shot myself: To expand my comfort zone and remind myself that being naked is normal and a beautiful form of being myself. Just to normalize this for me and share myself with others who are interested in this platform.
