ARTISTS STATEMENT

No he tenido mucha experiencia sacando fotos artísticas antes, la primera vez que incursioné en la fotografía fue cuando tuve mi primer celular con cámara, lo cual me permitió explorar más el mundo de la fotografía. En este portfolio para Ishotmyself, una amiga me prestó una cámara profesional con la cual me sentí muy cómoda con el resultado de las imágenes, sentí que realmente podía llegar a resultados muy bellos, en relación a la cámara de mi celular. También fue mi primera experiencia haciendo desnudos, hace un tiempo fui modelo para una marca de ropa, pero fue algo totalmente diferente. El hecho de poder sacarme autorretratos me hizo sentir más en confianza con el resultado ya que sentía que podía ser yo misma. / I have not had much experience taking artistic photos before, the first time I dabbled in photography was when I had my first cell phone with a camera, which allowed me to explore the world of photography more. In this portfolio for Ishotmyself, a friend lent me a professional camera with which I felt very comfortable with the result of the images, I felt that I could really reach very beautiful results, in relation to the camera on my cell phone. It was also my first experience doing nudes, a while ago I was a model for a clothing brand, but it was something totally different. Being able to take selfies made me feel more confident with the result as I felt like I could be myself.
