| ARTISTS STATEMENT |
I was excited to get involved with this project, I wanted to challenge myself to make time/space to simply just appreciate my body and how it feels to live in it, move with it. I have done nude modelling for dear friends before, sometimes photography and sometimes life drawing, and it is always so much fun and so freeing. But I found taking the photos myself for this shoot even more special, like I was writing a love letter to myself with every click of the camera. I am a painter and a dancer so I am a big believer in self expression, and I am very excited to be beginning my journey with this new, empowering way of sharing my creativity and sense of self. I adore my curves but every now and then I need a reminder of that, and this photo shoot was the perfect thing to do that!
