ARTISTS STATEMENT

Normalerweise bin ich sehr schuechtern, was Nacktheit angeht, und fuehle mich besonders unwohl damit, Leute meine Vulva sehen zu lassen. Deshalb gefiel mir die Idee eines Fotoshootings wie diesem erst nicht besonders. Aber die Vorstellung, etwas Kuenstlerischeres zu machen, das mir erlaubt, einen neuen Weg des Selbstausdrucks zu finden und aus meiner Komfortzone herauszukommen, hat mich dann doch dafuer begeistert. Ich fuehle mich jetzt auf jeden Fall selbstbewusster dabei, nackt zu sein. / I'm usually quite body shy and especially not very comfortable with letting people see my vulva. So at first I didn't like the idea of doing a shoot like this. But what got me to do it was the possibility to do something more artsy, finding a new way to express myself and getting out of my comfort zone. I definitely feel more confident about being naked now.
