ARTISTS STATEMENT

I've spent 19 years on this Earth, I'm a lover of all things creative and literally any cat in the world. I especially love to paint, and I especially love my cat. We spend most of our days together, I paint portraits while she watches in a patch of sun on the floor. Our other hobbies include binge watching Netflix, drinking a nice hot tea and eating all the best snacks until we fall asleep on the couch. Nudity to me was never something I felt strongly about either positively or negatively but I've recently come to appreciate it a lot more. I've realised how important it is. It is how we come into this world and it's how we spend a great deal of our time once we're here, it should honestly be celebrated so much more. It's not something that should be taboo, or embarrassing. It can be an expression of our most raw and true self, regardless of body type, race, sexuality, gender or identity. It's a beautiful thing and I'm glad to be able to share it with you here. I'd love to see the way we view sexuality and sensuality change, not just repeating the same sad and overused tropes we see in a lot of porn these days, create something beautiful, unique and sexy. I think this project is helping to do that.

Why i shot myself: To create something beautiful that doesn't fit the average standards where I am in control.
