ARTISTS STATEMENT

As a taller female, I have always felt awkward with my body and the odd proportions. I was an athlete for years and then when I was no longer working out daily I had to cope with the fact that I now had a different, more "curvy" body. I had to re-fall in love with my naked body. Over the past year though I have done just that! I love my body and all it's "flaws". I love the scars and stretches and bumps and bruises, because they are all a part of the story of my journey to where and who I am today. This shoot helped me discover some new parts of myself that I would not have found or been comfortable with had I not gotten out of my "safe box" and taken erotica shots with my out hands (and feet).
