Shooting myself is an integral part in coming to terms with my body. In the last couple of years I have learned to accept my body for what it is. I feel more and more that nudity is nothing to be embarrassed about and that I don't need to hide my stretch marks, scars and other flaws, as being at ease with yourself and being naked can feel extremely liberating, comforting and empowering. Even though I had a completely different picture of what my shoot was going to be like at the start of it, I think the end product is a very intimate representation of my personality and sexuality.
