| ARTISTS STATEMENT |
I have always loved erotic art, and the female body. Coming from someone who grew up so insecure about my body, I really loved women's bodies. Every day we are so bombarded with perfect images and this project allowed me to let go of the control to edit what I wouldn't normally like or be considered perfect. Cellulite, pimples, hair or whatever it may be. It made me look at these pictures differently, as beautiful, and yes for the first time I looked at my curves and shape and all the beautiful things about me and thought - "You look beautiful". I have purple and pink hair at the moment, so went with a colour theme as I don't think I have ever worn or appreciated these colours. I think it brought out a more feminine side, which I enjoyed!
