ARTISTS STATEMENT

A younger self would have been mortified at being 'naked on the internet', yet amazingly over the past few years, this is exactly what I've been getting more comfortable doing. It's been an exploration of sexuality, of capturing images and getting more at ease in front of a camera. I've become bolder and bolder in owning, showing and loving my own body. Being able to be unapologetically nude has come to be empowering rather than vulnerable - each time I do it I fall more in love with the openness, rebellion, audacity and possibility of showing myself naked.
