ARTISTS STATEMENT

I had a wonderful time expressing myself in my folio. This is something I had never done before. I have posed infront of the camera many times as a nude model, but never taken time to shoot myself in the light I wanted myself seen in. I love exuding sensuality and confidence, and definately feel I was able to do this in my photos, simly taken in my bathroom, with the camera at arms length. I didn't feel like a pornstar for one day of my life. I felt like an experimental artist, able to create something from my very own vision, not someone else's. I did in fact feel fully able to show the parts of my body I am most proud of, such as my eyes, lips and toosh, and those which are certainly most erotic. I enjoyed doing this without posing provacatively, but just standing as me naked, holding a camera.

Why i shot myself: Self-expression is the key to happiness, well at least my own
who I'd least like to see shoot themselves: just someone who isn't proud of their own selfworth and body image. You have got to love to flaunt it...I just wouldn't want to see pain in someones selfreflection
who I'd most like to see shoot themselves: my beautiful room mate Haley, as well as Charlize Theron - I would love to see how she would convey herself!
