I was surprised at how awkward I felt holding the camera myself, the pure lack of physical control at not being staged in a photo. This intimacy with the camera also made me realise that I feel more relaxed naked when I am physically protected whether that be with peers, a lover, walls or wearing clothing. Being outdoors alone naked is awakening.

favourite part of someone else's body: The neck. Smelling it, kissing it and lying in it. I think how people hold their necks tells a lot.
Why i shot myself: I love self portraiture and this was a type of self portrait with a specific brief that I was interested in giving a go.
