ARTISTS STATEMENT

Hi. The idea of shooting myself seemed pretty straight forward, however, as I started shooting I realised how tricky it can be. I really thought hard about how I wanted to portray myself and while I had lots of grand ideas most were unachievable on the day I chose to shoot. I ended up using the things I had around my living room and I suppose this is one of the best ways to reflect me. As I started to shoot I really started to get into myself as if I was doing a study and seeing myself for the first time. It was fun and sexy and I loved shooting myself, especially my legs.
