ARTISTS STATEMENT

Being completely nude is a freeing experience for me. There are no possiiblities of hiding blemishes or insecurities, they are all there for the world to see. To gain confidence is to accept that those who see us can also see through us. My insecurities arose many years ago. Since I realized that every girl has insecurities, I decided to stop hiding who I was, a flawed girl. I have come a long way from the shell I lived inside of many years ago. I want to be able to share my flaws, my imperfections, my skin, with others who appreciate those very things. I appreciate a good photo that captures the true person. Our personality can come to life thought the snap of a camera and that, to me, is arousing.

Why i shot myself: I love capturing my flaws and putting myself out there to remind myself that I am human, I make mistakes. I have the scars to prove it.
