ARTISTS STATEMENT

My two favourite subjects at school were art and photography, so cliche I know. The art course I enjoyed the most was 'life drawing'. We had nude models, both men and women, come in for us to draw. Some of the drawings were so beautiful and so well drawn but there was so much controversy about hanging them up in the hall with other artworks during the art competition. I always thought that this was ridiculous, it's a real shame some people can't appreciate that kind of art. When I heard about Project_ISM I was excited to try it out. It's the best environment for it. I hope to get a lot more creative with future projects.
