ARTISTS STATEMENT

To begin with, ishotmyself was an adrenaline rush - something I knew would push my boundaries. It was so much fun!! I was surprised at how much I enjoyed myself. Then, as the pure excitement of the nudity wore off I found taking the photos very rewarding. Simply as a creative task - what looked good in different lights and positions and what didn't. I realised I quite liked my body just the way it is. My body is now art. Beautiful art at that. Yay!
