ARTISTS STATEMENT

I have always liked to think of myself as a very unique individual, up for just about anything and unaffected by the views of others. If I want to do something, no matter how wacky others may see it, I will go ahead and take the risk...throwing myself into often hilarious situations! Getting naked for this project was an eye opening experience. I love been able to have fun and be a little quirky. It was also a challenge searching for secluded places to shoot myself. To be comfortable in your 'birthday suit' is a real achievement and a confidence booster that I believe everyone should experience. Having previously posed naked in Dublin with 3,000 others for a Spencer Tunick art installation, getting naked alone was a walk in the park...quite literally. In fact maybe a bit of company could have been nice!
