ARTISTS STATEMENT

Escaping the city's white pollution for many weekends running, ever spooked trees invite me in to proceed with my admiration of great wilderness. Ravaged with fire burnt black, dewy rain reveals days, of a lost nature of greenery, rummaging its way underneath the textures of my ever regenerating skin. Final traces of the city's pollution leave my mouth only to be thrust back into traffic jams, crowds and a haze like the fire had met the city sky. City dwelling of forest floors, window boxes towering in rather than trees, to explode in to the white differences of the light escaping from any possible corner into my very pores. Between city and country living, contradictions of beauty can create a burnt white destiny of the love of both.
