I feel like I have gotten a lot more out of this than I expected to. To be honest, I did struggle with the concept of sexy. I thought I was confident - I work as an arts model so am often nude in front of people and I'm not self-conscious, but I did find it confronting to be taking erotic photos. I guess the image of a sexy woman in mainstream porn and the media is a 20-something blonde, thin woman with big boobs. I didn't think I bought into that but I was aware of thinking 'I'm not sexy!' And I realised that I had to persevere for exactly that reason - because there needs to be more acceptance for all women and awareness that it's not just one type of body shape or look that is beautiful. On continuing and completing the shoot and looking at the images, I feel sexier.
