ARTISTS STATEMENT

I love the female body, in all its shapes and sizes. I don't always like my own body, but I enjoy the sense of empowerment that nudity gives me - no one can judge me, because I am bare. I see my body in very sensual yet practical terms. I can't wait to have children, create something wholly original from my own flesh. I love that ISM gives women the chance to express their own creativity and sense of self, whilst undermining the concept of erotica/pornography as something male-driven and sinful. I grew up with images of beautiful, naked women around, I believe that such an environment teaches young women to be open and confident about their own bodies and sexualities.
