ARTISTS STATEMENT

I loved doing this project, it gave me freedom to express myself through photography. I usually express myself through music. I have always loved looking at nude photography and think the human body is beautiful in all forms, shapes and sizes, regardless of age. I found being 44 and taking the photos to be quite confronting and liberating. I also loved getting outdoors, being naked and taking the shots. The risk of the neighbours seeing what I was up to was exciting to me.

Books I like: Fantasy and horror genres. At the moment I am reading the True Blood series, but my favourite book of all time is a book called Shantaram.
Films I like: Requiem for a Dream, Being John Malkovich, Baraka.
