ARTISTS STATEMENT

The human body is intricate and beautiful. In my photos I used lace, which is a part of my everyday life and a part of my body in terms of body art. To me it is similar to the human body in that it is complicated, unique, intricate and beautiful. This project gave me a chance to explore my body and the beauty of nudity. I enjoyed playing with light and exploring the effects of shadows on my skin. I think this project allows you to explore your own nudity and develop confidence in your own skin!
