ARTISTS STATEMENT

Project ISM is a way for me to explore my body and build more confidence in being nude. I've never really been comfortable with my body so this project is testing me and it's a great experience. I've always had a keen interest in photography and the different ways in which a body can be represented. This shoot was "waiting for my housemates to leave" and taking full advantage of the morning sun and the shadows that it can create. Once my confidence builds I would love to be able to do a project away from the comfort of my backyard.
