ARTISTS STATEMENT

I used to be lacking self confidence but over the last few years you could say I have blossomed or have ‘found myself’ and am now very happy in my skin. I think that today we are bombarded with tacky pornography and unrealistic images of so-called perfection, and the naked body has become taboo, making us feel restricted and undervalued. When I learnt about ISM I wanted to be involved as I liked that it is a very artful and creative approach to erotica. To me it was about showing the world the beauty of the female body and gave me a chance to show my uniqueness and personality through my photos. I am proud of what I have achieved and will be happy to share this experience with certain friends and family who have the same attitude and appreciation. I love the pictures I have taken. It was a lovely peaceful location with the sound of the ocean and wildbirds, I felt like a tiger in the long grass. It's been a great experience and I am now on the lookout for a good location for my next shoot.
