I really felt empowered to do this type of shoot. You get to express your creativity in your truest essence as a female. Exposed, raw, and free! What a beautiful way to gather as women and feel like you can do anything! I grew up in the rural countryside of America and I really gained an appreciation for the stillness that lies within the world. The quiet places that can do nothing but expose you to your own self. I felt like I got to connect with that in a whole new light in this shoot. I love art and music and it is a huge part of who I am as well, and again, to be able to connect with that part of me in this nakedness was thrilling. It made me feel alive and bold. I am alive! I am bold!
