ARTISTS STATEMENT

I found this really challenging, which I'm glad about I guess. It wouldn't have been worth it if it was too easy. I was nervous going into it but that was soon replaced by frustration, worrying if my flatmate would come home, or if the neighbours were watching. After a few wines I forgot completely about all of them, jumped in the pool and started having some fun. It is harder than I thought it would be to take flattering shots, but the times when I gave up on trying to look good they were usually the shots that were the keepers. So I ended up with a bit of a rash from the grass, and a wicked sunburn. But I discovered - paint makes a great suncream.
