ARTISTS STATEMENT

I have had such a great time shooting myself! I never knew the amount of curves and lumps and creases and wrinkles I have on me but I appreciate my body more so now than ever! The field is stunning where I took my photos, it's a very meditative place. I'm an earth baby so my photos were either going to be around a tree or in a tree, around a rock or on a rock - that sort of thing! I have had so much fun and I hope I'm showing through my photos my relaxed, confident and fun nature, which hopefully will inspire others to do so too! My travel blankey is my favourite, it comes everywhere with me. It was included because I wanted quite a bright, sunny and raw picture all in one- the colours are stunning I think. I really hope I get to shoot again and hopefully get my sister to also. It would be amazing! I'm really grateful for being able to share my body and soul with the world, it has been one of the most fulfilling things I've done. Thank you.

who I'd most like to see shoot themselves: My sister. She is absolutely stunning and the most creative person I know.

Most outrageous thing I have done: Dislocated my knee - drunk - whilst teaching salsa at the local pub!
Bands I like: My fave is Bob Marley. I like most styles, but generally not pop.
Books I like: My fave is Stephanie Alexander's 'The Cook's Companion', but I have a deep love for cookbooks in general.
Films I like: A Night at the Roxbury, Zoolander.
