ARTISTS STATEMENT
When I started shooting, I realised how critical I had become of myself. In this age of digital, where everything can be manipulated to give an air of perfection, it was hard to stare down the lens at myself with nothing to hide behind. I found myself deleting every shot. I guess in that instance I had a realisation that it was ok to look like me, and I truly saw myself for what I am. Beautiful, flawed, individual and above all, I am me!
