ARTISTS STATEMENT

I had a lot of fun creating the shots. Finding ways to represent myself and keep the shoot interesting and appealing was challenging but very rewarding in the outcome. I've always felt comfortable naked. I view the naked form as part of nature itself and just like nature is perfect in its imperfections... Being an artist and of an introverted nature, this project suited my character to a tee. I've expressed a little of myself on the inside by exposing quite a bit of myself on the outside. Vanity didn't really filter into it for me. Since having children and learning the incredible power that the female of the species is capable of has instilled a sense of pride and esteem in myself. Three babies born and only the power of my mind as pain relief has helped me to love my body for what it is; a beautiful, strong, intelligent machine. A reflection of the soul within.
