ARTISTS STATEMENT

At the time of the shoot I was 37 weeks pregnant. If I'd known about Project_ISM before I was pregnant I would love to have done a shoot when I was 'normal' and this shoot to capture the differences in my physical form. As it turned out, it was fun trying to capture my 'baby-belly'. I feel beautiful with my belly - the female form is intriguing, in the many variations of form it takes, the pregnant female form is fascinating, the subtle and the obvious changes it goes through. I'm happy I could capture this time as it's so very, very uniquely female.
