ARTISTS STATEMENT

Shooting myself was a great experience. I love to be naked and being naked outside is even better. I wanted to bring the media and images I work with in my own art into the images of myself. I love nature and spend a lot of time photographing flora. I also take jewelry classes, and have found that my jewelry is a big part of the way I present and define myself - that's why I have tried to incorporate my jewelry into many of the images. Overall ISM was totally fun and liberating. I love the message behind it, and I hope my pictures help people see the beauty in all sizes, shapes and colours.
