ARTISTS STATEMENT

My self esteem oscillates between sky high and non-existent. I don't really have any idea what I look like anymore, as I don't spend that much time with the mirror. Shooting myself made me feel beautiful and exciting and ISM makes me feel better about being me and I loved the process of submitting a folio. It was a lot harder than I expected, but it was so much fun and I felt great afterwards. It let me be creative, open and empowered. I encourage anyone who has ever thought about it to grab a camera and get out there and shoot themselves.
