ARTISTS STATEMENT

I was very inspired by the idea of creating "live" photos because I think it is important to show how ordinary women look like in their everyday life. They are beautiful in their naked body with natural faces. The idea that we are all unique and inimitable and that we need to love ourselves and our bodies the way they are is a way of identifying and working on of our internal complexes and self-doubts. Unfortunately, the fixed image of the ideal woman with ideal body forces many women to lock themselves out of the world and even resort to drastic measures such as plastic surgery in order to meet the expectations of their partner or society. A very few people begin the path of self-love by working through their complexes and fears. I Shot Myself is a great way to start loving yourself and your body the way it is.

I like to feel: When I feel lonely I have a need for a hug, and without further ado I go up to my friends and let them know I need a hug
favourite part of my body: My face. I love my big green eyes and high cheekbones that nature has given me

Most outrageous thing I have done: Peed in a public place because I couldn't find a toilet
