ARTISTS STATEMENT

I've posed as a model before, both clothed and nude, however, it was a completely different experience doing this, no one was giving me directions. It really made me get a little more into my imagination, and made me question how much of my private self I wanted to share. Which turns out is a lot! I shared a little painting I did, I shared my hobbies. I did feel a little self conscious about all the windows and the way my body looked but I found that all melted away as I started clicking away. I've gained a bit of weight over the past few months but this reminded me that my body is beautiful with all the folds and blemishes. Bodies change, and that can be beautiful.
