ARTISTS STATEMENT

Toda mi vida he decidido hacer lo que la sociedad espera de mi, lo que mis padres querían que hiciera,lo que mis parejas decidían que era lo mejor o necesario para lograr ser exitosa. Hoy he decidido que debo escucharme más, saber qué quiero hacer exactamente, qué cosas me gustan, cuales son mis limitaciones y explorar el mundo como la mujer valiente y fuerte que soy. Entendí que mi edad no es un límite para conocer placeres que no había tenido la valentía de experimentar, que no tener dinero o un diploma no me hacen poco interesante, al hacer estas fotos me reconocí como una mujer hermosa y llena de seguridad que ha logrado grandes metas y aún le quedan muchas más por alcanzar. / All my life I've tried to do what society expects of me, what my parents wanted me to do, what my partners decided was the best or necessary to be successful. Today I decided that I should listen to myself more, know what I want to do exactly, what things I like, what my limitations are and explore the world as the brave and strong woman that I am. I understood that my age is not a limit to knowing pleasures that I had not had the courage to experience, that not having money or a diploma does not make me uninteresting, I recognized myself as a beautiful and confident woman who has achieved great goals and still has many more to achieve.

Why i shot myself: Because I wanted to see what I could do if I leave my shyness away and felt confident with my body, explore the angles with a proper camera and saw a beautiful and amazing body that can do everything.

Most outrageous thing I have done: The night before my graduation from a very Catholic and conservative school I dyed my hair completely bright red and decided to go like that the next morning to receive from the hand of the director my high school diploma
