ARTISTS STATEMENT

I like to express myself here at I Shot Myself, I call it art. There will always only be one you. Anything you do is an expression of yourself already. Even if you try to copy another artist, that is an expression of the kind of thing you would do, and as your own style comes out (because you can't perfectly copy someone else's expression) that too, will be how you express yourself through your art. Art is not in the thinking about it, because thinking is a different sort of thing than painting, drawing or sculpting. If you want to express yourself through art, then stop thinking about it, procrastinating about it, planning it, but go make some art. For it is only in making art that you can express yourself in your work.
