ARTISTS STATEMENT

The idea of I Shot Myself, based on nudity and natural looks sounded really important and valuable for me. When I was younger I felt terrible and shy about my body and had different complexes. I was short and had lil' tits, so I couldn't accept or love my body, especially in nudity. But later on I met a nice guy, he was a photographer, so I had my 1st nude shooting - it was an exciting experience and a great result: I was in love with all the pics he made and felt that I am beautiful indeed! So your project became a very sweet continuation in this direction. I feel happy and proud of all I've done here.
