ARTISTS STATEMENT
Freeing the nipple was a trend almost 10 years ago and it was the one of the first times something of a revealing nature, spoke to me. I began to understand how sexualised a woman's body is in our society. Within a conservative environment, the people around me either took a gross liking to images or had no doubt that participants were in it to 'get attention'. I didn't feel like I had a safe space to voice that I would happily support the cause. Here you see me in the state I was born, without clothes, surrounded by my everyday space. Younger me would have liked this project.
