ARTISTS STATEMENT

I have been on a big journey reclaiming the wild woman within and liberating myself from all the cultural conditioning that teaches us we should be ashamed of our bodies and our sexuality. This culture of fear and shame is a big part of what is keeping us all enslaved in a system that is destroying our souls and our world and I think it's time to break free and rediscover the ancient power, wisdom and pleasures held within our bodies. A big step in this for me has been letting my body hair grow out and learning to love and embrace my body in its wild and natural state. It's an ongoing process but I am so ready to live my life unafraid and unashamed and it's been wonderful feeling all these layers of fear dissolving away and regaining this gorgeous sense of primal innocence. It is very liberating to express myself in this way and make this big public statement of self-love and acceptance. Life is a gift, my body is a gift, my sexuality is a gift and I am ready to live wild and free as a beautiful creature of this Earth just the way nature intended.

Why i shot myself: I am so ready to live my life unafraid and unashamed and it was a fun opportunity for creative expression of my wild woman witchy self.

who I'd most like to see shoot themselves: Everyone! I think every human is beautiful in their own way and it is so nice seeing people expressing their unique essence in this fun and empowering way

Films I like: I rarely watch movies anymore but if I do documentaries that teach and inspire such as Kiss the Ground, Fantastic Fungi and anything by David Attenborough
