ARTISTS STATEMENT

I'm usually very shy around how I portray my body in photos. Very critical and in the past I've done nude photoshoots with hair and makeup and I still felt very critical of how they turned out. This project really allowed me to be fully me, in a way that is raw and real and not a typical instagram worthy shot. It is me worthy. I spent some time staring at the photos and realising that if we had more opportunities where our bodies are loved by being expressed this way we would definitely see more confident and happy women. Without the need for perfection.
