ARTISTS STATEMENT
I'm addicted to soft skin. I've greedily watched my body soften as I've grown up, indulging myself in my stomach and thighs and ass. There's nothing quite like a good squeeze of soft skin - not in a weird serial killer way though, eek. I wanted to explore my softness and my squishiness while shooting, looking at my body as mountains and valleys of soft skin. It surprised me how striking my tattoos looked, like landmarks on the landscape of my body, ancient sites embedded in the soft, virile soil of my skin. I'm passionate about relearning our bodies, away from the oppressive lens of the media and the health/wellness sect. Nakedness is divine, in all it's wrinkles, folds, mountains and valleys, lumps and bumps and bellybuttons. It is perfect.
