ARTISTS STATEMENT

There is a wonderful phrase - "The body is art", and I totally agree with it! For me, a naked body is not about vulgarity, it's really a unique form of art. And the way the person serves it, how they feel while doing it - it's completely wonderful! When I lived in Kiev, I often posed as a nude model for artists, we have wonderful creative place where the model is changing positions every 15/30/60 seconds, and people are making fast sketches of her. Also, during a month I was visiting one of the most famous Kiev drawing academies, where I was painted by its students, and while I was sitting there (2 times a week for 3 hours) without moving, totally naked in that indescribable atmosphere, such crazy and creative ideas came to my mind. I have no idea how it works, but nude posing really gives me an incredible amount of energy, inspiration and a feeling that cannot be described in words. Now when I'm away from home, Ishotmyself gave me this feeling. The process of taking selfies charged me with confidence, with loving myself and my body and filled me with incredible inspiration. It's a super cool experience for me.

Books I like: In my childhood I was a big fan of Harry Potter (and still are actually). Also 1984 by George Orwell, Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, and Lilea by Ukrainian novelist Yuri Andrukhovych are the most favourite books
Films I like: The Dreamers, Fight Club, Harry Potter series of course and the Ukrainian movie Crazy Wedding
