ARTISTS STATEMENT

I found the process of creating an ISM folio really enjoyable. The further I got into the shoot, the more comfortable I started to feel. I was able to connect with my sensual side, she'd been dormant throughout the lockdown blues. Ideas for a second shoot were buzzing around by the time I had finished the first. I've always enjoyed taking my clothes off... I would cover myself in paint as a child, skinny dipped on school camps, modeled naked for friends but I've never spent that much time with myself both behind, and in front of the lens - clothed, or naked. There was something really light and fun about it. No one to play up to, and nothing to hide behind.
