Siempre me sentí muy cerca del arte (estudié audiovisuales) y siempre me importó mucho disfrutar de mi cuerpo. Igualmente eso no implicó que siempre tuviera claro que me sentía bien con mi imagen corporal. Y durante mucho tiempo me sentí en la obligación de intentar que mi cuerpo se viera como se "suponía" que debía verse. Sacar estas fotos me permite darle espacio a ese cuerpo que ha ido creciendo en mí, por fuera de las normas. El poder poner en foco mi bello corporal, mis tatuajes y curvas, mi piel ya no tan joven, es muy poderoso y disfrutable. Estas fotos son una celebración dedicada a mi cuerpo! / I've always felt close to art expressions (I've studied film making) and I always cared a lot about enjoying my body. In any case that didn't mean that I felt well about my body image. And for a long time I felt obligated to try and make my body look as it was "supposed" to look. Taking these photos allows me to give space to that body that has been growing in me, outside of the norms. Being able to put my body hair, my tattoos and curves, my not-so-young skin in focus is very powerful and enjoyable. These photos are a celebration dedicated to my body!
