ARTISTS STATEMENT

I am returning from a dark place as a classically trained dancer, into the real world (finally). I am rediscovering and reclaiming my place in the world as an artist, and as a woman, and my passion for being nude. I am reframing the female body (mine). Reclaiming the female lens (mine). Reminding the soul and my body of who I am. Taking in my place in the canon of female authors and artists (thank you). And I am unapologetic for who we are and what we look like (amen). This is who I am, and I shot myself for us.
