ARTISTS STATEMENT

When I started nude photography in my city of St. Petersburg it was forbidden. I was very afraid that my serious university would see these photos and expel me. But times are changing, and even the people who initially lectured me for too candid photos are now telling their friends about my success story. I shoot nude with many photographers, both Russian and foreign. There are different attitudes to it everywhere, in the U.S for example, there is a clear distinction between your work/your image on Instagram and yourself. In Russia, people often think that you take pictures because you are always looking hot and you want to. I treat these photos as art, I like to revise my old photos, I'm changing for the better. I'm getting prettier, and it's great! I don't think I'll stop in the next 10 years.
